Administrative process
This is the administrative procedure of recording information about the person to be hospitalized. This person must report to the Admissions Office at the Reception, with the following documents:
- The patient card if she is a former patient of the hospital,
- A piece of identification (national identity card, passport, driver's license, residence card) if she is a new patient
- the mail from your doctor,
- the medical documents that may be necessary (blood group card, vaccination or health card, analysis results, radios, etc ...),
- the maternity notebook,
- health book for children
- the health card or the care voucher if you are affiliated to an insurance.
Choice of rooms and hospitalization costs
A single room is assigned to the hospitalized person who requests it when availability allows. The fees will be included in the final bill that will be made when you leave the hospital, but beforehand, it is requested to pay a deposit on admission.
BAIL
Bail
As part of a hospitalization or surgery, you must pay a deposit at the entrance in the amount of:
- 25 000 FCFA minimum for a hospitalization
- 100,000 to 300,000 FCFA for an operation.
For further information, please inquire with the major of the service concerned.
If you have insurance covering the cost of such a room, you must provide the following information when you are admitted: name and address of the insurance company, policy number, class and level.
If you are not 100% covered by the insurance, you will have to pay cash by cash at the main cash register in the hospital hall.
In addition, if you have applied for a single or semi-private room, you will have to pay the rate even if your stay is medically required on another unit, for example in the intensive care unit.
At any time during your hospitalization, you can contact the admissions office to change your choice of room.
Departure time
In order to allow another person to be admitted more quickly, patients must leave their room early, at best at noon (12 noon), or within two hours of their discharge being signed by their doctor.
Living will
If you have prepared a document to designate someone who will speak on your behalf in the event of a disability, let them know about a caregiver or doctor.
